"The hardware of this hotel is good but staff are not very customer oriented except for the front office manager called Candy. She's very helpful and has very good customer service skills. Avoid rooms facing entrance, its very noisy at night because other tourists are dragging their luggage onto the stone pavement right outside the entrance . Our room came with breakfast but it is not worth getting up for. The breakfast room is not inside the hotel and is down the road in another building....

"The heritage hotel is great, the hidden entrance will bring you inside the Ming dynasty court to discover this little gem. Is like a jump in the Emperial Time. The service is polite and welcoming, but they don't have an appropriate information material to give to the clients about the local tourist attractions and how to reach them, even they can rent you the hotel's bycicles. The rooms are great, we stay in a cozy suite, but without fridge and mirrors except in the bathroom."

"The outside grounds of this hotel are beautiful! The location is also very convenient. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind, though I don't know what their English speaking capabilities are since I speak Mandarin. However, the walls of the rooms are paper thin. "I stayed in a suite room at Holiday Inn Kunming and had a great experience. The room was spacious and very clean, with two bathrooms—one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There’s a dedicated workspace in the living area, which is perfect for business travelers. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having two types of pillows (soft and firm) to choose from. The shower had strong water pressure, making it very relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located near Spring City Mall, which makes shopping easy. If you’re looking for accommodation in Kunming city center, Holiday Inn Kunming should definitely be one of your top options."
