"Good but not great hotel. Relatively convenient location, pretty good service. Our room did not have a window, which was a bit drab. Booked a non smoking room, but like most Chinese hotels, this non smoking was poorly if at all enforced, so the hallways always smelled of smoke.
Maids were phenomenal, very polite, very punctual, and very communicative even with our minimal chinese language skills. "

"Room size is adequate and helpful , friendly staff. You can get to metro stations in 10 minutes but DIDI service is so easy.
Washing facility is very useful too. Aircondition is also good."

"I’ve stayed at many properties in Beijing over the years and I’ve come to make the Kempinski my top choice. Its location is great and staff are great, but it also has combination of classic elegance and quality that many other hotels lack. It’s not ostentatious, but everything is super high quality from the breakfast to the rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful and I like that is in the river. My only suggestion are that the beds could probably use new mattresses. But they are still quite good. "
