「La Veranda Hotel has to be on your bucket list. The rooms are spotless, the staff is so friendly. It’s a few minutes walk from the beach. The Jasmine restaurant downstairs has the best food, Richard the owner is so so nice and accommodating. If you take a 5 minute walk you are in the middle of the entertainment district, great pubs and restaurants. I’m definitely coming back to stay at La Veranda.」

「Mixed vibes from the staff, they were very friendly during break and when we checked out, however, upon our arrival, the guy at the reception was far from being friendly.... The rooms themselves could use a good refurbishment.... The wood had holes in it from a long decay plus there were strains everywhere. Breakfast is a bit odd as well, they will make an omelette or a nice cup of cappuccino for you, but you have to ask and sometimes no one is present near the relevant stations」

「The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing...

「Very comfortable stay, clean and quite spacious. Good value for its price. The only thing that I could complain about is the need to call the reception to turn on the air-con because you can’t do it in the room.」

「The resort looks good but isn’t maintained at all the toilet was leaking into the room and the maintenance crew didn’t show up even after many calls the road leading up to the hotel is closed for very big works not a normal closure looks like it will be long before they are easily accessible by car and the staff wasn’t really helpful i guess because we are off season」
