“Good value”

“We stayed here after hiking the Santa Ana Volcano. We were able to use the thermal pools for our aching bodies and got a massage a the spa. The food was not great but the service was good. Crazy roads leading up to the hotel as well. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating and the pools were great.”

“This is a old and dirty place, humidity odor, washroom with mold. No water pressure impossible to take a shower. The worst part, my wife and daughter were attacked by a big dog, owned by the receptionist. The dog broke my wife purse and daughter got a terrible panic and nobody helped them. Terrible experience. Expedia need to report this place. DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL”

“I am traveling w my daughters and came across this amazing boutique hotel .. it’s located within a few blocks of the downtown square with shopping and quaint restaurants.. we loved it so much.. the atmosphere and people were amazing.. the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.. we had breakfast each morning on the outside patio and it was excellent.. so grateful for our stay .. highly recommended this place!!”

“Hotel Maria Isabel in Ataco was such a cute, cozy family-owned stay. The hotel was small, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, which we really appreciated. There was no AC and unfortunately the fan in our room didn’t work, so we had to keep the windows open at night. But honestly, the hospitality made up for it. The breakfast was SO good, and the man at the front desk — who I think may have been the owner — was the sweetest. He was funny,……

“The hotel amenities are modern and the grounds are well maintained. The volcan views are amazing. The food options are varied from typical meals to international ones for all tastes. The room are spacious and very comfortable. Overall a great experience at a very affordable price. If you're walking the volcan trail in the morning I definitely recommend to stay at the hotel to rest, enjoy the food and views after the walk!”
