“Clean and tidy. Small bathrooms. Only supplied a small hand soap and hair products. no body wash or shower caps. Also no hand towel so had to use a flannel instead. No milk for the coffee. Asked for a wine glass but they only have tumblers. Too noisy outside to open the windows. Recommend ear plugs for sleeping. No lift. Small stairs, dont book if you have lots of luggage or large suitcases. Great location. Use the train instead of the bus if possible. Buses are less reliable. Lots of eateries……

“Mortdale Hotel is an older property that has been renovated in the recent past. It appears the hotel is a secondary business. The desk is the bar on the main floor, not a problem. They were helpful and efficient checking us in. The commuter train runs by the hotel but the trains are quite quiet. I didn’t hear the trains unless I was awake. Excepting the train the neighbourhood was quiet. The air conditioning was great. Temps were cool so we used the unit to keep the air dry most of the……
