“We loved staying in this cottage! It is snug but perfectly designed and outfitted for a couple. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the grill was clean and easy to use. The bed was super comfy, and the dining/living area was well-arranged for a quiet evening of dinner and reading/watching. Bathroom is small but functional and we appreciated the nice bath products provided. Everything was pretty new and clean. There is a little firepit and comfortable chairs that we enjoyed using while……

“The room was clean and nicely decorated but initially the tv's were not working in either the bedroom or living room. We discovered batteries missing in some of the remotes and called Duncan, who drove to Portage Point from an off-site location. He was unable to find a store open to buy batteries, but we ended up with 2 AA and 2 AAA to at least get the bedroom tv to work. The living room tv was "unable to access" Spectrum. ”

“Property is old and grungy. Sofa was especially old and filthy. Beds were uncomfortable. Flimsy push button outer door locks made us feel unsecure. ”
