“I had never stayed in a bed-and-breakfast before, but my wife convinced me it would be fun. Little did I know how great this experience would be. When we arrived, we were greeted by Angela, the innkeeper. What a wonderful woman. A great host, a great cook, and a wealth of information about Williamsburg. This may have been one of our greatest vacations we would gladly go back again. Angela, thank you again for a great time. Andy and Donna.”

“Loved the room-spacious and relaxing. The view of the water are phenomenal. Check-in was rough. We were never notified tgat we had to contact the property in advance to put down a deposit and get access codes. Internet connectivity in the area is very poor, and the location's wi-fi was spotty. Generally, check-in was a huge hassle that could have been avoided with some prior notification.”

“Smithfield Station is a quaint hotel right on the water. My room had a balcony overlooking the boat dock. It's a beautiful setting. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy. The restaurant is right next door, great food.”

“The most important reason you should stay at the historic Smithfield Inn is because George Washington slept there. Second the staff’s hospitality is amazing, good people work at the Inn. Third there are few places to enjoy eating there. Overall I would not mind living in this beautiful town. Smithfield Inn best place to stay and rest. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in Suffolk! The hotel is undergoing slight renovations but all the facilities remain open. The fitness center was very nice as was the pool. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful even when we had a slight issue at the beginning, they were happy to help us change rooms even on a busy Saturday. The room itself was very nice too and the bed was comfortable. The location is amazing and so close to everything. We had no noise issues or other complaints. ”

“1. The switch between faucet and shower head is broken. The faucet in the shower tube is leakage. 2. The water from shower head is very small. 3. Great lobby and servants.”
