"This is a family run ryokan business by the Kouda family. We booked a house / villa that is with attached bath and toilets. It is a very traditional house with renovated bath & toilet and owners are friendly and accommodating . Location is not very accessible if you don't drive but they fetched us from wachi station as the ryokan is located 30 mins from local train. Would strongly recommend if you want a local ryokan stay experience."

"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area. "Um hotel business. Fica em frente à estação de trem da cidade. Meu quarto ficava de frente à estação, i barulho incomodava un pouco. O quarto é um pouco pequeno e datado, mas satisfatório. Idem para o banheiro. O café da manhã é ruim, mesmo sendo barato. O funcionário que me atendeu no check in foi ríspido e pouco cordial. Não gostei. Chegou a cobrar, no check in, o valor da acomodação que já estava pago pelo site Hoteis.com. Depois de eu contestar, recuou. Mas fiquei apreensivo. Todos os...
