“Excellent Lake Biwa view on 9/F. The room in 9/F is new decorated and contains modern facilities with Japanese classic style. The private hotspring is good. The Japanese breakfast included is also good. The bath room should have curtain for guest who is shy. The location is very peacful but no convenient store or any facilities nearby. Need to drive car by 3 minutes to the nearest convenient store.”

“We spent 1 night at this traditional Japanese inn. Our room was great and it was a wonderful experience to stay somewhere with tatami mats and sleep on futons. The riverside hotel is located in the most stunning, quiet, and peaceful forest. We enjoyed exploring the quiet beauty of it. We chose the half board rate which gave us supper and breakfast. The traditional food was delicious and very filling and eating riverside while it was raining was a highlight of our family trip to Japan. We did not……

“When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. It was the season of firefly sighting so we decided to explore the town at night, he noticed that me and my companion was wearing short sleeves and quickly told us to wear a jacket to protect us from insect bites, he even lend us a torch as it was quite dark on the streets. Even though we couldn’t……

“正館有四間好靚溫泉, 溫泉水好滑, 每天只要加七百日元, 還有不會太濟迫, 環境舒服, 包早晚豐富好味.”

“剛好在淡季入住，以致我們成了包棟入住，屋內的暖氣、澡堂還是給得很足，感覺對店主有點不好意思。招待的是日本夫妻，老婆的英文還不錯，老公好像英文不太好。櫃檯、澡堂有營業服務時間，夜間出入也有門禁時間，就需要用密碼鎖出入。雖然我們的和式房沒有附廁所，但店主貼心的將房間安排在離廁所及茶水間很近的地方。周遭的賣店有點距離，如果沒有開車前往，記得要先自備一些需要的食物。位置緊鄰琵琶湖畔及沙灘，如果夏天這裡一定很熱鬧！！是值得再次造訪的地方！”
