"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

Good basic and clean accommodation, being winter I did find it rather cold this time and could have done with another or thicker duvet but the accommodation itself lacks nothing, well positioned in a nice suburban area of Kyoto close to transport, and it's own shrines and onsens."

The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. "We enjoyed our stay at Rinn Shiki Juraku. The rooms were clean and very beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back."
