"This property was an amazing sight to behold. My wife and I arrived later in the evening and the staff was friendly and accommodating during the entirety of our stay. The surrounding area and property itself is beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that we started discussing returning on a future visit to Japan. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area for a visit to Japan."

Heihachi Tea House Inn

2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

Kibune Hiroya

3.0 star property
6.0 out of 10, (1)
"Kibune Hiroya turned out to be much older than expected. Room is tired looking and everything seemed old. However, service is super attentive and dinner is very very good, although we were disappointed that the rain kept us from dining over the river, kawadoko, which the town is famous for. Thankfully we were able to do it for breakfast and it was really an amazing experience."

Lund house - Hostel

1.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (39)
"Lovely hostel that has only been running for a couple of months. Everyone from the staff was super sweet, welcoming and very helpful (even helped us booking a very cheap nightbus to Tokyo online). The female dorm os very cosy and the beds are sooo comfortable. The whole hostel is very stylish and the design makes you feel like home. Even though it seems to be a bit far from the main city district, it is easy to catch a bus to the city. You can also enjoy a very nice walk along the creek to the...
