「The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead.」

「Loved loved loved our stay! Owner was so kind and informative. He gave us a free room upgrade which was such a wonderful surprise! He also kept our luggage safe before we arrived and helped us ship it to our next destination. He made this stay feel like a home away from home, so we were excited to come back each night. There is a mall super close by which was convenient. By far the best place we've stayed at in Japan. Looking forward to going back!」

「Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.」
