“The hotel staff are excellent. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is comfortable, if a little dated. “Staff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff in all of the hotels I've stayed in on Guernsey. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection. Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better.”

“A great hotel - we had dinner in the restaurant and it was scrummy-licious - so good it was very hard to leave anything. Breakfast was also excellent - plenty to chose from - the hot food was cooked fresh so again, scrummy-licious - the local Guernsey butter was a delight. There were a couple of grumbles - no safe in the room, but as crime is virtually non-existent on the island, this wasn't a problem. Our blinds didn't work properly. One BIG positive is that if you don't have your room cleaned……
