「Let me start with the positives. This place is beautiful and the room was spectacular (one of the casitas) and the views of garden of the gods are unmatched. However, when I checked in they gave me keys to the wrong room which lead me to walking into a couple in their space. Awkward. We then went to dinner and the food was ok! Drinks were great. I took my mother back to her room and her room was freezing. We called several times and they told us they couldn't control the heat without an engineer...

「Hotel is very nice. Great quality. I had trouble locating the car park at night and the person on the desk was very grumpy and unhelpful. It wasn’t a difficult request. They could’ve been a lot more helpful.」

「This hotel is under construction. Our rooms windows were covered outside (no view whatsoever) as they were actively jack hammering out front of the hotel by 8am. Down the hall a crew was active daily, so if you want to book a stay, be ready for some construction activity all around you. It's a beautiful old hotel in need of renovation, but unless you enjoy being in the middle, I'd book elsewhere in Manitou Springs until they finish the job. 」
