"Great hotel to stay in Kumamoto. It's near the Kumamoto castle, Sakura-no-baba Josaien and the sakuramachi shopping centre. The hotel has a lot of on-site amenities such as a public bath and a restaurant. Staff are helpful and attentive."

"Front desk was very helpful & accommodating. Although hotel was not close to station or eateries. We had to catch the cab to most areas but hotel has 3 restaurants."

"We really enjoyed staying here. The personnel were very helpful and the place was quiet and peaceful. The room was a spacious, 4-room/section place in a 120-year old cottage style, with modernized bathroom, nicely made in traditional onsen style. Better signage for the breakfast location would have been helpful. "
