「It was really difficult to unlock and open the doors, the locks were loose and the door handles were coming off. When we arrived and went into the bathroom there was a roll of toilet paper with poop on it. I went out to the hall and was able to find an open closet with toilet paper, but that was really gross to come into a room and see that. The television in one of our rooms did not work. The toilet in the other room would not flush. There was two minutes of warm water in the shower before...

「Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!」

「My wife and I had a lovely one-night B&B stay at Trossachs Barn & Cabin. The cabin provided a charming and peaceful setting, making it a delightful place for a short break. The breakfast was excellent and a real highlight of our stay. Our host, Tony, was very friendly and helpful, offering lots of useful information about the local area and places to visit. 「Delightful. The hostess goes out of her way to assist walkers. Little things, like putting transferred luggage into guests’ rooms, mean such a lot at the end of a long day’s walking. Delicious scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. Lots of tips for the West Highland Way.」

「Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms.」

Zimmer nicht gut gewartet (Duschhahn hatte Löcher und spritzt in alle Richtungen, Spiegel hängen schief, Fenster zwar funktionstüchtig aber nicht gut gepflegt usw.). Sehr hellhörige (dünne) Fenster, daher laut wegen dem Verkehr draußen (Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße). Lüftung im Bad hat nicht funktioniert. Licht im Bad hat nur teilweise funktioniert. Frühstück mit kaum Auswahl. Abendessen dort ja, aber kaum Auswahl.」
