Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!"

"This place was amazing. A cute little cottage tucked away privately. Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. The host met us when we arrived. Directions were great but we weren’t sure we were in the right spot. "

"The staff were never available when you needed them. They were always apologising for leaving you to wait, at reception and the main bar. There were queues all the time. Room was not up to standard particularly the bathroom. It was quiet, but fan was broken and clearly had been for some time. The bathroom backboards were blown and growing something. Toilet roll was brown from dampness and not thrown out, and we had to open bedroom window as the shower caused that to steam up after use. Bed was comfy but furniture was scored and worn out. There was poor maintenance and some tables in the bar really needed to be scrubbed clean. It was disappointing given the price. Plenty of breakfast food available and dining area was clean. Staff were friendly once they were available, but they were just not visible when expected and service suffered."
