In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. “We were four family/friends away for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. The cabin is in a wonderful area with excellent prospects for exploring the outdoors. We hiked a small portion of the Appalachian Trail and also visited Harpers Ferry. We could have simply sat on the porch with a book as well, since the view is very relaxing. The host was attentive and helpful. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed our time at the cabin!”

“The Shade Tree Cabin was perfect for us with great spaces to congregate (living room and fire pit), relax and play (game room) and work together (kitchen) and very close to the historical and natural wonder of Harper’s Ferry. The property was beautiful and well kept. Already miss it.”
