“The house was the perfect home built lovingly by the owner. The views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range were spectacular. We hiked Zapata Falls, Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge & The Great Sand Dunes National Park with our border collies. The owner gave us lots of local information plus our dogs loved his dog! All had a blast running & chasing sticks on the property every evening. Sunsets were awesome!”

“Second time staying at this house and skiing Wolf Creek. Great location to the small town of South Fork. Easy checkin and out. No real issues with the property and easily fit 12 adults / older teens and 1 baby. Great hot tub after the slopes and fire pit down by the river. Great views from house as well. Use Rocky Mountain Ski for your gear they’re great. Will be back again and hopefully not take 6 years like the last time.”

“Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. A short walk to downtown shops, super close to a James Beard nominated restaurant called Friar’s Fork. The walkability can’t be beat. The neighborhood was quiet. Any and everything you might need to be comfortable has been thought of and is right there in the house. Nice linens on the beds and comfy living room furniture. We live over……

I messaged the property owner via the VRBO app the day before check-in and then texted the morning of our arrival because I hadn't received any check-in instructions. Onsite property manager Reed was friendly and welcoming and quick to share helpful tips about the area.”

“The good: the home is lovely. Clean, comfortable, easy check in, very nice updated house. The could be better: there is no hot tub which is advertised. There is a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom, this is NOT the same as a hot tub. It is right on highway 160 so there is traffic noise. They only have off street parking even though there is a driveway it is locked. This home is clearly not managed by the owners. The manager told us we could use the driveway as we had some concerns about our……

“We had three families with a total of 12 people stay here and there was lots of extra room. We played games and cooked dinner each evening in the dinner/living room. Pool and foosball tables were fun additions that are downstairs. On top of this, we got lucky with a lot of snow to play in. South Fork is a relatively easy drive up to Wolf Creek each day.”

“Early check in was nice after 9 hours on the road, property was excellent everything we needed short trip to the slopes with a beautiful drive there. Close to town for anything you forgot and pickup a few items”

“This is a huge property with plenty of sleeping accommodations. We had everything we needed. It was an easy check in/check out, enough parking for our three cars, and everything we needed to cook our own meals. The upstairs Masters bed/bath was modern and fresh. We especially loved the hot tub!”

“The place was roomy and accommodating. We had 4 guys, so it was nice not to have to share beds and to be able to spread out the snorers. Pros: -Spacious open feel -Hot tub -Everything as advertised -About as close to Wolf Creek as you can get Cons: (these are minor picky things) -Cookware was pretty basic -Had to do some snow shoveling to access the back porch -for some reason I imagined a remote cabin with a pond- it was actually a complex of many cabins on the property- but still quiet……
