“A beautiful, historic building and a lovely, lovely hotel. Staff could not do enough for us and we're super friendly. Caterena was a star. Room very well equipped. Various International TV stations and free WiFi. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and cooked fresh. Great quality. Rooftop pool was a lovely facility but lost the sun by 4:30 (Oct). Restaurant was open Weds to Sunday for dinner and was another jem. Situated in a tranquil suburb across from Valetta you need to take the ferry……

“Found this hotel in YouTube. Well, everything is good like transportation, food outlets etc. We stayed in Room 502, the air conditioned is quite noisy and towels quality seems old, shampoo and lotion dispenser are not working on the first day. We informed housekeeper and finally fixed it. Overall, Malta is a good place to go and this hotel is a good location but need to be upkeep at all times. ”

“The location is close to the main historical buildings and tourist centres. The breakfast buffet provides diversified kinds of good foods and is worthwhile to pay extra cost for it. Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……

“I stayed here for one night only as I was passing through Valetta on my last night in Malta and must say I was very impressed. Communication with the host was extremely easy and they allowed bags to be stored even after checkout. The property was in a great location near the centre of Valetta with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, with the room itself very large in size and even came with a seperate living space. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Malta's capital city once……

“Paulous Valletta was an absolutely fantastic stay. We had the room on at the top with the balcony overlooking the harbour and our to sea. Highly, highly recommend! Comfy bed, great shower, little private kitchen (down some steep steps but if you're mobile absolutely fine). And the view from the balcony (with loungers) was great. Very well located, walking distance from everything and quiet at night. Thanks! Will come back :)”
