“Me and my spouse visited starlight stays on our way up to see family. Check in was quick, the staff was very kind, and our room had everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised to even have a nugget ice machine! The room was very clean, recently painted, and had a modern charging port bedside with a nice TV. I couldn’t have asked for more for a “budget” priced stay, and I will definitely return the next time I need a stay between home and family.”

“Pool was closed for repairs which was not reflected on the website. The tub faucet dripped constantly. The tub faucet was difficult to adjust the water temperature. The luggage cart wheel could not be turned when luggage was on it. The AC unit was oversized causing the unit not to stay on which caused the room to be humid. AC unit was loud when on.”

“The the rooms and the hotel was very clean. The staff was wonderful. But this hotel had no amenities which was not stated in the hotel informational guy. It does not have a restaurant. The lobby is very small. The parking is adequate but across an alleyway the front of the hotel is not clearly marked stating this is the front clearly there was no fruit in the lobby for guest to use if you arrived after hours, there was only vending machines, and this should’ve been stated clearly clearly clearly……

“This was a nice stay for us. It isn't a 4-star hotel that has coffee or breakfast in the morning, but we weren't expecting it. Our room was clean, the staff (especially Greg) was very helpful with an issue we had with the TV setup. Of several places we have stayed in Sumter in this category, this is the best one for the value we have found and we'll stay there again. ”
