「Do not stay at Garden City Inn. The reviews and photos online do not accurately reflect the state of the property. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, the room was not clean, and upper management does not care about your experience. I cut my stay short due to the dirty conditions of the room (soap scum and dirt in the shower, hair on the floor and towels) and how uncomfortable the bed and sheets were. 「We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)」

「The elevators were slow and some broken. They wouldn’t let you bring a cooler to the pool but the drink stand( Tipsy Turtle) kept closing. It made no sense. Also you had to wait until 9am to sit at the pool. Fire alarm went off and it smelled like smoke but after we evacuated no one communicated what happened. The pools were fun but there was not enough pool chairs and the first day we had to put our towels on the ground. The coffee bar was very disorganized. The first two days the person...

「1. No staff cleaned our room. 2. No coffee was available for our room. 3. The view of the beach was very good.」

「The waterpark (slides, pool, kiddie pool) area was wonderful! Very family friendly. Staff was kind. We loved the pier as well. Had a flatbread from the restaurant that was great. The only thing we noticed was the walls were thin. We could easily hear our neighbors who were not loud people. Definitely a disappointment considering how expensive it is to stay here. But overall we loved it.」

「The hotel was moldy and had mildew. Was not clean at all. We complained about the original room they gave of because of the rotten smell and got an attitude from the front desk. They did change our room to a slightly better room but it was still nasty 」

「Upon arrival there was a slew of shady undesirables hanging around. Alot of loud noises and music coming from other rooms. The elevator was covered in urine and i spent about 10 minutes trying to get the key to work with the door. Once inside the entire place reeked of mildew and mold. Half of the lights wouldn’t turn on. I immediately left and went to another hotel where i felt safe and clean. DO NOT take your family here under any circumstance.」

「If you can get through the smell of marijuana and people yelling down the hallway, pounding on doors from midnight until 1 AM, you will find yourself in a room that was in disrepair. There were no plug-ins in the bathroom, half the lighting worked, there were stains on the main door and headboards of the beds, a broken chair at the desk, and water damage on the wall by the main window. The positive is that even though the beds were small, they were comfortable, and there was a nice 55-inch TV....

「The beach was under construction during our stay, which certainly wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the crew worked around the clock making it hard to sleep sometimes. Had to go to the desk & trade our dirty towels for clean ones, they don’t provide housekeeping services or bring clean towels to the room. Not a bad place, just wanted something cheap on the beach & that’s what we got」
