"A friend told me you could rate a hotel by the number of towels it takes to dry after a shower. With thin towels, this was a two towel hotel, but they provided only one per person. The USB plugs by the bed did not charge. The room was not well lighted. We stay in Hampton Inns often and this was the only poor one."

"Admittedly, my expectations were not too high when I reserved my room after reading the reviews before booking. The reviews were generally mid range. Upon arrival, I found that the lobby was clean and orderly. The hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was seamless and fast. The overall appearance of the hotel inside and out was somewhat worn, but well-maintained. My room was in the same condition but clean. I was impressed to see that there were enough towels and amenities, including a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Everything worked as expected. The Internet was fast and reliable. The bed was comfortable. However, the mattress was softer than what I like. The water pressure was very good. Particularly the shower. Had good water pressure. The heating system and air conditioner worked well. The hotel was quiet. It is conveniently located near grocery stores and shopping all of which are within walking distance. Conveniently located near the main highways."
