"The George is a 16C building and our room [107] is in the old section and overlooking the High Street. Parking is free to patrons. Our room had very uneven floors and took some adjusting to. The bed was comfy with TV and radio. The bathroom was smallish with a decent size shower but miniscule hand basin, which was not practical for face washing. There was some noise from passing traffic - but not too bad. The restaurant decor is really good, with comfortable seating and a good menu. We had a good evening meal and breakfast here. Staff were friendly and helpful."

Nice breakfast and nice breakfast service."
