It was perfectly clean, with a welcome supply of tea bags and coffee as well as fresh milk in the fridge. Hand soap and body wash were in the bathroom, and an ample supply of TP. There was a selection of DVD's and some children's games for entertainment. The heating worked well, and was quick to warm the rooms. There was a bird feeder outside the patio doors so we saw a range of wild birds, squirrels and a few deer one misty morning. We didn't have a UK phone, so the owner left one with us for remote access for the front gate. The owner was very responsive to any issues we had. I highly recommend staying at Deer Cottages.
