"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination."

"Rooms are very clean. Amenities are adequate. Above all the place is in an environment where ait quality is superb and hot springs are everywhere! Mt. Fuji is about 50 kilometers away and you can see it from a couple of train ride stops away whether permitting. On the other hand for customers with a certain age you may need to be prepared for slope climbing. Top Atsugi Hotel Reviews

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

10/10 Excellent

"Overall excellent experience. Plan your trips for transportation well in advance as taxis take along time if available. Book night before or coordinate travel with hotel shuttle. Property clean but if you look at detail it needs some refurbishment in certain areas like landscaping pressure cleaning and some aging areas need upgrading. Not really a CON per se but something the hotel can do to keep 4 star + ratings"

10/10 Excellent

"We spent about 5 days and nights at this location, the staff was beyond friendly and understanding to foreigners! The rooftop terrace was a huge plus if you plan to just relax and have coffee in the morning or for a chill night in. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options available were also delicious and affordable. The hotel is located in a prime spot to access the Kawaski station, making your travel into Tokyo fairly simple as well. I would highly recommenced Slash for your stay!! And to be honest this Hotel is first on my list given I take another trip into Tokyo."
