The most beautiful villa ever!!

My family and I loved this gorgeous villa. The neighborhood is quiet and the villa was better than the photos. And way beyond our expectations. It’s the perfect getaway for a family vacation and we relaxed the entire time. The unit comes with a golf cart for easy access to town! Will definitely book again next year.

Beautiful place to get away on Catilina

It is a very well-appointed condo with everything in working condition and well-maintained. Absolutely great location and has amazing views, definitely a return visit are in our future.

Best of Hamilton Cove

Of the three times we’ve stayed at Hamilton Cove, this unit was, by far, the largest, cleanest and most comfy. Top of the line appliances, beautiful large deck with amazing views, great golf cart, and plenty of space. The only ‘FYI’ is that there are about 60 steps down to the unit (and then backup up) so keep that in mind if you have challenges.

Great view and location

The overall cleanliness was lacking; the towels, covers, and sheets had an old, musty smell, as if they weren’t properly washed. There were also a lot of ants in the condo. However, the view is fantastic. Just pack light and be ready for plenty of stairs!

A Little Slice of Heaven

We stayed in Villa 68 for the second year in a row...we absolutely loved every second. It is absolutely beautiful. Our family of five had more than enough room and we enjoyed the views morning and night. The kids also love cruising everywhere in the golf cart. The owners of the Villa are beyond kind. Our daughter left her stuffed animal and they went and got it for us and made sure we got it the same day. We hope to make this an annual trip and are sad to be home!

Breath taking views

We felt that the Villa captured all view points of Avalon! From early morning to late at night, every change in the day/night was gorgeous! The Villa was spaceous, clean and had everything we needed and we are pretty high maintenance! The stairs to the Villa are something to keep in mind if you have any issues or injuries. The golf cart was awesome and gave us so much freedom. We saw several deer on the way to town and Vons on Sumner was so great to stock up with whatever you need. Overall, a wonderful getaway!

Gorgeous villa

The villa locates in building 18, midway. The unit is very clean, spacious and comes with basic necessities. The patio is a wrapped-around patio where you can see nothing but the ocean while the other sides you can see the houses of the Hamilton Cove as well as the ocean. The golf cart fits 6 people, which is perfect for us. Amber is extremely nice and responsive, from the time I made the booking to the time that I checked out. She gave clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. My family and I surely had a very relaxing time during our stay. Highly recommended and would come back again.

You MUST stay here!

We had an absolutely amazing vacation on Catalina Island and this villa was perfect! There were four of us all together. The place was extremely clean, beds were SO comfy, space was plentiful and the view was breathtaking! Morning sunrises and clear starry skies overlooking the water will be something you will remember forever. It was great that there was a golf cart provided for us to make the quick drive into downtown Avalon. Hamilton Cove was a great, quiet location that felt secluded from the busyness of downtown but it was so nice that we could get there within a 10 minute drive. We would highly suggest taking the Food and Drink tour (we loved our guide, Janet). Would recommend coffee from the Brew House, lobster from the Lobster Trap, local chats and drinks and the Marlin Club, amazing Italian food from M Restaurant and the best ice cream from Sailor's. Thank you for the most memorable trip!!

Reunion vacay

We were so pleased with this villa. The views and the deck are absolutely gorgeous. The Villa as well. We had a problem with the oven burning smoke when we tried to make pizza . We believe it was an error on the cleaning people who forgot to wipe down the oven after putting oven cleaner in. A few minor things but all in all a lovely experience. Be warned! It is about 100 steps down to the unit. Not an easy walk carrying luggage.

Great vacation

If you dream of just relaxing with your favorite drink in a comfortable chair, soaking in the sun, listening to the waves while watching the boats float by….this is the PERFECT location. The mostly private (we never saw a neighbor) wrap around, corner balcony was AMAZING! We were so comfortable it was hard to leave to visit Avalon. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The beds, pillows and linens were all very high quality. The condo is spacious with views from every window. The golf cart was stylish, easy to drive/park and quiet. IF I had to say anything negative it would be the countless stairs BUT we knew about that and we got a great workout in. The condo is worth every step and more. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay. Our only regret was not booking it for a longer stay!” Patricia 68

Nice property

The View and location are absolutely amazing. The property and facilities are stunning - makes you feel like you are on a hillside Ocean resort in Europe. It was also great to have access to the golf cart to go into town with. There was a REALLY bad ant problem at the property. We could not keep them from the second bedroom bathroom area and at one dinner they ended up all over the food we had staged on the kitchen countertop. The second bathroom also had a dead frog next to the toilet when we arrived, so between that and the continual any problem in that bathroom it was a little disturbing to our friends that stayed in that room. the second plug in the master bathroom (the non GFI reset one) also does not work - no big deal - we just used the other one. Overall though, we loved the location and property. The check in and out process was easy and Amber was great to work with.

Literally A Tranquil Home

If your looking to relax and take some time for self This is the home for you Just note that there are 80 steps to go down and up however once you have checked into this lovely home It wouldn’t matter. We booked this home for my husband’s birthday. He wanted to stay somewhere different and that’s exactly what Catalina gave him From the area we stayed to driving a golf cart to get around and taking in the town he enjoyed it all. The home we stayed in offered everything we needed It was our home away from home Being that it is the Winter the restaurants we wanted to eat at weren’t open so we just grabbed some things at the grocery store and made due. We literally stayed in the entire time unless we had to make a store run We enjoyed the home with our 8mnth old baby boy We took in the breathtaking views of the ocean and got some much needed rest We’d love to come back in the Summer when things are fully open And would love to book again

All in all, a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed it. However, Be ready for lot of stairs, no air conditioning, or black out curtains. Also the 6 person golf cart would not make it up the hill with 4 adults and 2 small children

This is a fabulous place to stay. Gorgeous view quiet and very convenient. Golf cart is a plus I only wish check out time was later than 10 am. It felt rushy to get out and barely gave us enough time for a morning shower and eat breakfast. Other than that highly recommended

Beautiful view. Hamilton cove has some nice amenities. Ceiling fans and cable were not workable. Seems silly to have to drive 1 hr round trip to put 11 dollars in gas in the golf cart.

Stunning inside and out. Loved the soaks in the bath each day. Beds and pillows so comfortable got a great night sleep. Lock box was tricky and had to call Ana but she was very nice and got there quick. Easy clear instructions for check out which was much appreciated. Already planning our next stay
