“Terrible breakfast. There is no breakfast buffet, their online description is highly deceptive and misleading. There was some lukewarm coffee, a few dry bagels, muffins and toast. No eggs, no links, no bacon… nothing warm. Then the manager had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t even qualify for any breakfast since I didn’t book directly with the hotel. Expedia members don’t count. I also qualified as a VIP guest which they ALSO didn’t honor (no free beverage). Small stuff like that ruins your……

“Very nice property. Have stayed a few times. It was off season so very quiet. Continental breakfast could have been better. Hotel is very well kept and adorable. ”

“Staff was great. The cabin was terrible. The shower head did not work. The staircase was almost impossible the get up and down from the loft unless you were a skinny 10 year old. The parking is very tight. The last night we were there it was 0 degrees and the heater stopped working. I have stayed in numerous hotels there in Blowing Rock and this was the worst.”

“I called the front desk as soon as I booked the condo on Expedia and the front desk lady promised to put us in a condo close to the amenities but as soon as we came to check in they gave us a condo unit that wasn’t that close like originally promised over the phone. It was old and outdated and we had 4 children with us and 2 set of adults and only 1 king and 1 queen and 2 set of twin beds on two separate floors - which was highly inconvenient since all 4 girls wanted to sleep in one room.
