“Lagoon Villa 44 is an amazing place to stay in the IOP. The property was clean and updated with all the amenities! It is very quiet and relaxing! Short walking distance to the beach and Wild Dunes resort. My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay. Our hosts were great and easy to contact. We will be back!”

“Convenient to beach access and restaurants. We enjoyed the community pool to ourselves one afternoon! Unit was dated as mentioned by others, but clean and spacious. Stocked well with towels, detergent, toilet paper, etc. Air units noisy but the cicadas outside drowned out a lot! Would stay again for space, location and price. Still waiting for reply from local management on issue we had with lock during checkin. Vacasa customer support very responsive but had to refer me to local management who……

“This is an older beach cottage, right across the street from beach access. Great location, easy check in, clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen stuff to use. The furniture is tired and appliances are old, but everything worked.”

“This was a wonderful condo with a fantastic view of the ocean! The only thing that went wrong during our trip was that the elevator broke on the last day which forced us to carry all our luggage down the scary temporary stairs. I’m thankful that we were on the 2nd floor and not higher.”

“It was a nice place with a good pool and a nice beach. I was a little disappointed that the dishwasher was broken during our stay. With our family of five, it was a pain to do the dishes by hand. The beds were very comfy and the shower was nice. I also liked being able to easily walk to IOP. My only other wish was for more beach stuff available in the condo for the kids to play with. “The condo was spacious and in an ideal location. My travel partner and I loved how large the place was. The 3 bedroom layout is suitable for two couples and a few kids. The balcony overlooks an inlet, where we enjoyed seeing egrets fishing and the tide come in and out. The location is perfect- It's just before the bridge leading to Folly Island. This puts it within a half-mile (easy waking distance) to the beach but far enough away to not be kept up by the late night partiers. Be aware that this……

“When we arrived at check-in time, it was apparent that the cleaners had not yet been there. A call to the manager/owner remedied the situation right away. The cleaners showed up while we sat on the back porch and relaxed. So we were not too inconvenienced. She did refund 1/2 of the cleaning fee. For the situation, she did very well in making it right for us.”
