“The place was unoccupied except for us! Our room was fine but the premises seemed to be under renovation. No staff were available.”

“My husband had a partial corneal transplant. We are not from the area so one of our daughters searched for a place for us, her, her husband and two sons to stay for a few days. We arrived the day before the scheduled procedure, travelled to the hospital the next day and his follow up with the surgeon the day after the surgery. We stayed an extra day for him to remain on his back. The living room has two sofas so he could lay down on one and our daughter’s family could watch movies, play games……

“We stayed with our grandson for one night for a trip to Steamtown. Each bedroom had its own Roku TV, so he loved having his own space. The bathroom is simple but worked for us. The Frog Pond across the street doesn't look like much from the outside but is amazing! Great service and food!”

“The air conditioning was nonexistent, the room strongly smelled of mildew and neglect. The room was filthy… the condition of everything within the room was awful… Left immediately - would rather sleep in my car, felt safer.”

“Beautiful home lots of space very clean. Any time I had a question the host got back to me very promptly. We enjoyed the golf cart, the fire pit, and a little bit of the pool. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to go to the pool because our days were filled with lots of other activities. There are two friendly cats on the property. We saw a black bear. That was pretty cool. Definitely enjoyed our stay.”

“The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean and the decor was sweet. The management was very quick to respond and answer questions. The space was much nicer than being in a hotel room for a week.”

“Host rented the apt. we had already rented so someone was in the property when we arrived. Host provided the adjacent property but we were locked out twice upon returning to property after a day of research so had to call host who thankfully just lived around the corner (and who did not apologize for the room mix-ups or getting us locked out of our building twice). The property was just okay for cleanliness; no wash clothes for the bathroom (we found those dried up and bunched up on the shower……

“checking in was confusing we didn’t realize it was a multi unit home.. we had to wait for instructions to get in and had no check out instruction. ultimately we had a decent night and good nights sleep. cheaper then a hotel to split with others”

“Great location and nice home!”

“I was so happy I stayed here. Absolutely beautiful place, breakfast was amazing. The hosts were very accommodating. Will return.”

“Will def be back, perfect getaway spot to disconnect from the city”

“Such a unique and cozy place to stay! It was perfect after hiking at Rickett’s Glen.”

“We really appreciate how clean was the place. My husband has multiple allergies and I was concerned about dust, or mold. He actually was very good, and did not sneeze once. The cabin has most of supplies ready to use from kitchen supplies, towels, bathrooms supplies. I really like the coffee and teabags supplied. Definitely we will be back.”

“Very family friendly and clean. Was very comfortable and made you feel like you were at home. This was the second time I stayed at a bnb and haven't been disappointed. Thank you Karen for a great experience! ”

“This accommodation is a town house at the end of a street. In the back there are trails. There are many beds. The decoration of the rooms is well thought. It is close of Ricketts Glenn Park. There seems to be a water infiltrations under the place. The floor is caving in many area when you walk on it. There is a strong odor of mildew.”

“Easy access to local attractions, including ski resorts not far away. We enjoyed staying active while being close to comfortable accommodations.”

“We had a very nice stay with extended family, and the home was large enough so that we weren't living on top of one another. We spent quite a bit of time on the large front deck, and it was nice to have a portion covered and a portion uncovered. The family enjoyed taking the the kayaks out onto the lake, which they could access from the private dock. Overall it was a relaxing and pleasant weekend. Kathy the host was also very proactive and accessible in her communications. Would recommend.”

“Amazing place. Has everything you need. Host gave clear directions. Would love to come back 😊”
