「The house was very roomy and the property was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our stay here was very relaxing. My grandson (8 yrs old) loved seeing all the fish, turtles and tadpoles in the river. We also saw deer and wild turkeys. There is also a nice nature trail on the property. We had several questions for the host and he answered all of them promptly. Communication was excellent!」

Julie was great to work with, great communication and very accommodating. Beds were comfy, home was clean and overall a wonderful weekend full of great memories. Would stay again!!」

「The small fenced in yard was great for our small dog. We were there to attend an air force basic training graduation at Lackland AFB. The commute was easy and having a Walmart close by came in handy. We really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing setting.」

It’s secluded and private while close to town. Best of both worlds. We look forward to our next visit. 」

「It was a great experience overall. The kids loved that it was a working ranch and there were animals all round the place. Had everything we needed. I do wish there had been some curtain on the windows, though!」

「Wonderful large open home in the country with a beautiful view. Perfect for a large family. Very large fenced yard front and back. Don’t have to worry about the little ones roaming off! An unexpected bonus was arrowhead hunting. There is flint everywhere. Definitely would book again!」

「There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. The tight, steep spiral staircase was a bit challenging for our luggage. Another thing worth mentioning is that the refrigerator is very small,...

「Perfect location for our son's wedding in CenterPoint, TX. Plenty of room for family, friends, and grooms' men to gather prior to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. You must eat at Toucan Jim's. Food and atmosphere are fantastic especially the fish tacos and the fried shrimp. One of the best places we hace every stayed!」

「The house was great. I just wish that the living room ceiling fans had a switch/pull to leave the fan on but turn the light off. Also, beware of the scorpions! Since the area is so dry, they are out more.」

「Very nice place to stay though the window unit in the bedroom did not cool down the room enough.」

「This stay was amazing. So quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside in the cool hill country weather. Loved that there are cows with new calves running around. Also enjoyed the morning wake up by the rooster on property. This property was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone.」

「Absolutely gorgeous country decor and the house and properly are beautiful! The porch is large with fans and lighting to relax outdoors. The beds are a little high if you are short or have mobility issues. The bar is a great place to relax and listen to the cows moo! I will definitely be back!」
