Grandfather Mtn.~ 10th Floor Penthouse~Ski Resort

Looking for a stunning mountain retreat? Look no further than this fully renovated Penthouse on a High-Country mountaintop at 5,200 feet of elevation! With panoramic views of Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding valley, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath home with 10' ceilings is the perfect mountain escape. Fully equipped and conveniently located in Sugar Mountain village, across from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and above the town of Banner Elk, this mile-high Penthouse is the ultimate mountain getaway.

Our lobby welcomes you with a warm fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. Our vending room has you covered with a full selection of toiletries, drinks, alcoholic beverages, and complimentary coffee. Take a dip in our indoor heated pool, unwind in one of our two hot tubs, or break a sweat in our generously equipped workout room. If you're looking to relax, check out our dry sauna and steam rooms. And for some entertainment, we offer a library of films and books.

Exciting news for our guests! We have installed high-speed fiber optic internet service with a router exclusively for your use during your stay. This means you can connect multiple devices simultaneously and enjoy smooth surfing, checking email, and social media. Stay connected and entertained during your stay with us!

Looking to stay longer? No problem! Our rentals are available for long-term stays upon request, starting from 2 nights. Our fully appointed condo includes a well-stocked kitchen with full-sized appliances, flat screen TVs in each room, free high-speed Internet, Wi-Fi, and personal touches throughout to complement the exceptional long-range views that will take your breath away.

Located next to the elevator, our rental unit is extremely convenient as the hallways are quite long, traversing the entire building. The windows and balcony allow fresh, cool mountain air in. For warmer days, we do have ceiling fans throughout and a portable air conditioner. An in-room weather station has been installed to give you instant and accurate outdoor weather readings including temperature, humidity, wind speed, and barometric pressure.

I wish I could give this more stars! Outstanding stay. Communication with the owner was exceptional and the room was amazing. Very nice location and the staff was great. Felt safe with security too. This room was even better than the pictures and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend. Will book again.
