「Upon arrival (slightly early) I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception; very helpful. Check-in was quick & efficient. Good sized room & very comfy bed. Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. 「Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.」

「Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended」

「The room we received was not what was presented on the Expedia website. We booked for three travelers so we were trying to be careful In choosing accommodation. The sleeping alcove in our room (108 ?) does not have a window, so it was warm. There was also a lack of outlets for charging our phones and tablets. Had to unplug the TVs. Food at restaurant was good.」

「Staff were great, room was tidy. Only downside was the breakfast. Wife is gluten free and although the breakfast was labelled really well……they cross contaminated the breakfast items at the server. The chef was really helpful and cooked a separate breakfast but the cross contamination should never had happened in the first place. Putting gluten sausages with bacon to keep warm is a no no.」

「This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
