“This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. However, the first thing that we were told when being shown to the room was that there were two small bottles of water which were complimentary but any further water would have to be bought -……

The surrounding area is vibrant and full of great restaurants, all within easy walking distance. There’s also a nearby bus service, making it simple to explore the island without any hassle. “A great one-night stay after disembarking from a cruise. The hotel and room were spotless. The room was huge! There was a full kitchen which sadly we did not have the opportunity to use. Many rooms have balconies and outdoor seating areas. The wifi was excellent, and the TV was smart with loads of viewing options. There is a nice small pool in the central court, and the beach is a 2 minute walk. There is a decent mall with a pharmacy/grocery store that sells just about everything you need. Lots……

“Property was nice, if you’re looking to have direct beach access, I wouldn’t recommend staying here as the water isn’t calm nor swimmable. I’d recommend staying near west coast of island or near Carlisle bay. I don’t feel like the hotel was kid friendly and because of that, I will not be returning as I travel with my children. Guests had complaints of kids playing at the pool, where management had to be involved and they favored the guest who had the issue with the kids. ”
