“We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. “Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable.”

“Lovely stay, really quiet in the accommodation and nearby. We stayed for a little weekend break, lovely area nearby with so many walks and areas to walk round. Dark skies right nearby, 20 minutes walk up onto the hills if you’re into star gazing etc. would stay there again and recommend wholeheartedly. Doug was great and very friendly. ”

“We had a wonderful week in the Plough Shed. The location is wonderful for local attractions and amazing walks. The Octagonal Walks booklet which you can purchase at the local cafe/shop offers a variety of well documented walks. The only thing we found disappointing was the amount of dog hair in the cottage, a good vacuum cleaner would have helped.”

“Hamish and Susie were great hosts. Hamish met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket. The shortbread’s were delicious ( I believe they were homemade). We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the cottage was what we had hoped it would be. The gardens and grounds were so lovely and peaceful. Hamish gave us excellent advice getting to London by train. Our son and grandson enjoyed exploring Windsor Great Park, they saw a lot of wildlife. An awesome……
