“Property not as expected photos weee misleading. It suitable for someone who has a disability problems walking.. we could only use three bedrooms instead of four as the small bedroom with the bunkbeds had a smell of overpowering sealant in it and it could not be used . Stairs going to kitchen could do with an extra hand rail . Not really suitable for 9 people as only one family bathroom and 1 en-suite. .also not enough sofas for 9 persons . “While the house is very large, spacious, and historic, some of it seemed a bit worn. For example, the carpets on the first floor and stairs needed a good cleaning and/or to be replaced. The bathrooms and kitchens were very nice, but the rest of the house did not have as polished of an appearance as depicted in the pictures. Also, in terms of location, if you need to be dropped off/picked up, there really is not a great place right by the house that taxi drivers would consider.If you have a……

“We were met and welcomed by our host and the house was well positioned, comfortable, clean and in general well furnished and maintained, however, there were some deficiencies in the kitchen ( no oven gloves, no hand towel, eclectic selection of half finished boxes of tea) and the downstairs toilet was in a poor state with ceiling wall paper falling down, paintwork scratched and toilet seat loose.
