This was the best room that we stayed on on our vacation. The King suite was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. We found the golf course to be very nice and well-maintained, and very much enjoyed our time here.

My room was very clean, and very close to Saginaw state University. I was so happy to find this hotel after a long day at a conference and cancelling two other hotels. The grounds were nice but needs a little landscaping cleanup. I was very happy with my stay , that would be my only tip

This hotel was beautifully updated, the lobby and restaurant were beautiful when you first walk in - a good mix of modern and rustic. We booked the suite and it was an amazing deal! The price was excellent for how nice it was! We only stayed one night but regretted not booking a second. Staff was very friendly! There is NOT an outdoor pool, but there is a small indoor one with a hot tub. If you are booking for the pool perhaps find different accommodations but if you want a relaxing stay in a lovely hotel, it is perfect!

Pretty blah. A little dated, poor lay out, meaning, we had to go down stairs down a hall, up a set of steps down a hall, down a second set of steps to the end of another hall to get to our room. The restaurant/bar staff were understaffed which equaled poor and looooong service/ wait time.

I really went for the swimming pool but it was a let down pics are beautiful and it was clean. It is just a little over 3 feet so it is a kiddy pool. The staff for both the hotel and restaurant were amazing. This is an amazing maze of a place. Do please ask for a map. I wish I would have. The room was clean and beautiful. The bed and pillows were excellent. Over all I give them a solid 4 only because of the maze of confusion that I had to navigate to the kiddy pool. Staff again were absolutely fantastic. We will come and staycation again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Unfortunately we just kept having issues. The first room we were given keys to was actually someone else’s room (with all their belongings in there). I inserted photos of what we walked into. When handling the situation the man working at the desk seemed to not really care and had an attitude. The bar had slow and poor service. I suggest drinking somewhere else.

Had the king suite. Nice room. We had it for 6 days. No closet just an open area next to tv that had a place to hang 7 items. No dresser, really were living out of suitcase. Needed an iron but there is none, had a steamer that didn’t work for my needs. No elevator to 3rd floor. We had to carry everything we had up stairs.

The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable! We slept great! The rooms have been recently redone to make them modern looking. The overall facility was clean, Wyndham Hotels has bought this property and modernized it. They’ve put new metal roofs on the buildings and sprayed all the exterior walls of this building a pleasant looking green on the exterior walls. A few remaining items they need to address: Resurface the parking lots; On the backside approach to the property, paint the cement approach and stain the wooden platform. Also, the screen slider in the room is torn and needs to be replaced. There is an 18 hole golf course on the property, which is quite nice. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here!

The property was in various stages of renovations but was otherwise in good condition. The friendly staff was helpful. The breakfast (that I paid for) was good, my eggs were scrambled just as requested. The room was clean and comfortable.

We made a reservation over 8 months before our stay. Requested a first floor room because of disability. The room was on the top floor with no elevator. I complained to staff but didn’t hear anything back. One of the staff members said they would talk to the manager but we haven’t heard anything yet. Wasn’t happy with our situation. Don’t think we’ll return. 2 times I sent a message about accommodations and it was documented by staff and no one obviously did anything about it. Also one of the staff members should dress a little better when receiving customers. He dressed like a bum and reeked of tobacco. Toilet was broken too. The sliding door was filthy. When I opened the bedside drawer there was some kind of bug in there. I tried to grab it with a Kleenex and it pinched me and got away. My wife wasn’t pleased at all.
