Amazing Vacation Spot

Loved the location of this condo and how adorable it was. We spent valentines weekend there and even though it was rainy and chilly it was one of the most amazing stays we have had in a long time!

Passing of my brother

It was a rushed decision because my brother was very sick. I wanted a location that was close to where he lived and of course I needed facility that had cooking aminities. This location was perfect and it provided everything I needed. Susan Schiavon did a fantastic job of taking care of us in a time of need. I can't thank her enough. The only complaint I have is the furniture and floors where not cleaned or dusted. It needed more dish clothes. Not to take away from location and condo because it was nice.

Great accommodation

Fantastic condo, but steps to the beach was misleading. Ad states, “steps to the beach”! It was 450 yards or a quarter mile! Had to go to the state park to get to the beach!

Quality location and Condo

My daughter suggested the title of the review because the beach life was amazing! Pelican Place is the perfect place to visit! Terrific location with everything you need. Great beach at Harbor Island plus the fun of bigger waves at Hunting Island thanks to the included pass. This was our second year at this condo and won’t be the last!

close to state park, beaches, turtle nests lots for families!

great location! quick access to beach, I walked out there every morning with my coffee. We had family camping at Hunting island so wanted a place nearby. 5minutes! loved having a park pass included for a day at the state park. One day our family came to hang with us and take a beach break pool hopping. Susan was a great host! answered questions quickly, including letting property know about a broken step leading to beach. It was fixed by the next morning. This was our couldn't believe there were 105 turtle nests on the island! Missed watching any hatch though. first trip to this area but Will definitely be back!

Awesome rental unit

Gated community provided greater unexpected security during our stay. Free pass to Hunting Island state park was great! Beach at the park was gorgeous! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Best friend stay-vacation

My best friend and I rented this condo for the weekend for a beach and pool get away. We enjoy ourselves and relaxed the whole time. The unit is very well decorated and is super clean. I was impressed with how new it seemed. The bed is very comfortable and good for those with back problems (in my opinion). The only problem that we found with the property is the unevenness that we felt in the floor. For an older person with equilibrium problems or walking problems, that floor could cause many walking problems. The floor seems very "hill" and "valley" in some places. My friend and I took turns sleeping on the bed and sleeper sofa. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. You might want to look into that.

The perfect getaway when crowds are less. It was quiet and comfortable, the condo was spacious and clean, comfortable. All the amenities we needed. I wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Unit was nice - Property Manager was awful

The booking process and communication leading up to the check-in was great. The unit was very nicely furnished and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. As we were unpacking and getting situated, we found multiple bugs that looked like roaches. When we contacted the property manager, she informed us that they were palmetto bugs and that they were very common in the Carolinas and there was nothing she could do about it. She proceeded to asked me in a very condescending tone, "have you ever stayed in South Carolina before because they are everywhere." I actually have stayed in South Carolina many times and this was the first time I had ever found palmettos in the houses and units I've rented. I have been renting with VRBO for many many years and I have never experienced such a condescending, rude, unhelpful interaction. It was awful. I felt like I was bothering her. We later had issues with the keyless door code -- needless to say I was reluctant to call her -- but I did. And she never called me back. She simply texted me saying code should work...but it didn't. She also said Evolve, the property management company, would be contacting me about the palmetto bug issue and the door code. I never heard from them. Given how I was treated, I will never stay at this unit again.

Great Condo in a Beautiful Place

We loved this condo. It had everything we needed without being cluttered. It was the perfect size for the two of us and was tastefully decorated. The community has 2 pools and one was very close to the condo. The beach was a short walk and we also loved the Hunting Island pass. Harbor Island isn’t a popular tourist destination so this was absolutely the perfect place for this gal who doesn’t like a crowd. The instructions were perfect and we never once needed to contact our host. I highly recommend staying here. It’s truly the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

Wiles Family Vacation

We had an amazing time on Harbor Island. The condo was in the prime location to visit the pool or beach. The condo was super clean and accommodating for our week full of adventure. The owner was super kind and very great at responding during our stay! We will be planning our trip for next year at Harbor and potentially this location or one of her others.

Beautiful Property

We will definitely be making future reservations here again. Property was clean, beautiful, and all the amenities provided was wonderful. The WI-FI password didn't work, but when you're staying on the beach with family, who needs it?! Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Hunting State park area

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here and was above my expectations. Location was awesome. Short 2 minute walk to beach, easy parking, ocean view from back deck. State park pass was a huge plus to enjoy Hunting Island State Park. Had fun exploring and discovering new places.

Perfect get away!

Thanks for sharing your condo. It was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. It was very relaxing. Loved walking on the beach. Would stay there again if in the area.

Stay in a quiet place

Is a nice complex for a relaxed stay. They have a full size bed, very well equipped kitchen. Nice dining and living room areas. Not far from the beach. The beach view is just a bit. Note: there is a second company after VRBO and of course de property manager, in the instructions they ask you practically to clean all dishes and to leave perfectly organized the apartment, I never understood why to do that if we pay a cleaning fee.
