“Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“Lovely homely pub and restaurant - and very popular when we visited! Lots of character, open fires and original features make it your ideal, traditional hostlery. Our room was lovely - again, characterful, roomy, and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was fine too. Included a small fridge so we could put a punnet of strawbs we'd purchased at a nearby farm shop to keep fresh. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the main area of the pub, sitting on a lovely bay window seat. ……

“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with black mould around the edges of the shower. The bedroom……
