"The property was clean and the staff friendly. It truly is an uphill hike to the property from town. Grindelwald is very touristy and commercialized. We took a day trip to Wengen which I highly recommend and would stay in that village next time."

"Great hotel super easy parking for even with a large SUV. The facilities are excellent great pool and sauna. The breakfast was first rate. We stayed one night but this would be a great base for a ski holiday. The hotel is situated in a new development although we didn’t notice any noise from construction. There were three or four dining options on the doorstep but we chose to walk the ten minutes into the old town where there were a dozen or more places to choose from. "

The only thing to keep in mind is that it is that there is a steep walk to the hotel from the train station and if you have heavy luggage, then it takes some cardio strength to carry it to the hotel. But once to reach there, it is worth it. The hotel is quite nice, staff is very friendly and helpful and the views of the Grindelwald valley from the hotel are amazing!"

What makes it even more special is its perfect location—just slightly off the main road, offering peace and quiet, yet only a short, scenic walk to the bustling shopping and tourist street. The service was outstanding, with genuine attention to detail in every interaction. You can tell the hotel was created with love—it’s visible in every corner, from the thoughtful decor to the spotless cleanliness. And the restaurants? Absolutely excellent.
