The area surrounding the hotel is good for sight seeings. But since it is in the heart of governmental admin area, it lacks of local lives in the sense of real local food (you can find quite a bit of tourist food) Be prepare to do quite a bit if walking and the area is hugh!

I got a free upgrade and obviously because they failed to provide the room type that I booked. And the chambermaid is very polite and friendly. Receptionist are well manner and the hotel is right at the heart of Beijing which make it very convience to go round.

The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Public areas and room are very clean. The food is very good for both Chinese food lovers and western food lovers. More options with coffee. Walkable distance to subway, railway stations and bus stations. The area is safe. Only the bathroom is not convenient. big class windows make no privacy for changing clothes.

The hotel was excellent and had all we expected from ot. Room spacious, clean and good view to the train station. Breakfast was good too and the location excellent for most of Beijing attractions.
