“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”

“The property is amazing, lots of beautiful birds to see right from the porch area. The river is a 10 minute walk from the property. You can cool down and listen for monkeys. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The meals are delicious, self-serve bar is awesome, and dining area is outside so you can enjoy being in nature. I would recommend getting picked up from airport, don’t bother renting a car especially if you plan on doing excursions with the resort because they provide transpo for……

“Cassia Hills has been around a long time and is a lovely property. Lounging by the pool was great, staff brought us fresh coconuts. In fact, the staff really MADE our stay. They bent over backwards to ensure that everything was great, helped us when asked and were lovely to interact with. Joe, Carlos and Sarlee (front desk) were friendly and kind. I was with my mom and aunt and our cabin was far from the front desk so Joe and Carlos drove us to and from the room...super nice. Would stay……

“Awesome resort at the top of the hill overlooking San Ignacio. Beautiful view of the town and the sunset/sunrise with a pleasant breeze. Walking distance to Cahal Pech Maya ruins. Friendly staff with a great restaurant and bar. I will definitely be staying here again when I travel to Belize.”

“I highly recommend Max Rooms. The staff is very kind, communicative and attentive- they really care about your experience! The house keeping staff keep the premises very clean. I was especially impressed with the freshness if the linens and the comfortable bedding. If there were any issues, it was easy to get in touch with the owner through WhatsApp. Both of the restaurants downstairs are delicious- Caris and Katherine are both sweet and delightful. “This is a great location, very peaceful. Nice to have a restaurant on site. They were very accommodating given that we had early morning tours. They fed us a tad earlier than they typically open. They were very helpful with everything. The location is uphill from town so we would walk down and take a $5 cab ride back up after dinner. The food at the restaurant was good. Lots of breakfast options. ”

“10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! ”

“We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! ”
