“Good location and reasonably comfortable. Air-conditioning wasn't so effective and pillows were quite lumpy. Dissappointed that car parking was not included, especially as the car park was empty and daily charge was significantly higher and less safe than nearby garages. Overall it was an ok experience but could have been better.”

“I had a bad experience here. Arrived in DC, quick ride from the airport - the room is pretty small, but ok - it's DC, I get it. However, after the first night I felt AWFUL and looked around the room and particularly the AC. There was mold, and I took a picture and sent it to management/host right away. I got a response that they were sorry that I was uncomfortable, and that they would try to come get someone to look at it, but after staying 4 nights the AC mold issue wasn't resolved. Apparently……

There is a small hotel-size fridge and microwave, with basic utensils for travelers who plan to eat most meals elsewhere, or microwave meals. Do pay attention to the details of additional expenses. The base advertised cost doesn't cover cleaning and parking fees,”

“My stay at Sonder Georgetown C&O Apartments was deeply disappointing due to a highly distressing lockout caused by an unprofessional deposit policy. The staff failed to collect the $50 deposit at check-in and later insisted I return to pay it, without clarifying any deadline or potential consequences. I never intended to avoid payment; when I returned later, the front desk was occupied, so I planned to settle it after dinner. Shockingly, just a few hours after check-in, the staff deactivated my……

“Musty air, cobwebs bug and mosquito filled basement turned living space. Slippery bathroom with an untidy sight. Worst of, we could literally hear the noises and steps by the hostess and her family. We understand that kids are very active, however it was constant and very unnerving.”

“We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect, as it was close to the museums we visited in DC. The house was clean and fit our family well. We had a couple things we had to reach out to the hosts about, but they were quick to respond and very helpful. The only thing that did not work for us was the private parking space, which seemed a little small/tight for my sister's van, so we parked on the street out front.”

“I enjoyed my stay here. The check in process was very smooth and hassle free. The space was well furnished and clean. It also had everything you would need for your stay. There’s a washer and dryer which is very convenient as well as an air fryer and toaster. The location is also very much ideal for anyone who works at Howard University as it is a short walk away.
