「The office clerk was very helpful at check-in, couldn’t have been any nicer! The motel is a bit dated, but well worth the price point. Great place for families on a budget.」

「Great staff. The facility was undergoing a major remodel. My room was done but smelled really strongly of chemicals (new paint, new floors, new everything) and it was overwhelming for me. I opened the window, but there weren’t screens, and since this is still a motel, it wasn’t super safe. I think the smell (and hopefully screens) will be fixed soon but it might be best to wait a little longer until things are sorted. The room did have really soft towels and a lovely bathrobe and I loved access...

「This resort near Branson was a surprise in a great way. We booked it and on arrival were impressed with the size and style of the room. Since it is a resort, it had great amenities too that far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay here again.」

「The hotel is right in the middle of downtown Eureka making it very convenient to walk anywhere downtown. The hotel itself has many daily activities. Our favorite was the wine tasting where we were able to go down into the speakeasy. Side note, the duck wontons in the bar are delicious!!」

The room smelled, was not clean, had a broken dirty chair and holes in the sheets. The AC did not work properly. We were either hot or cold all night. We cannot recommend The Lodge or stay there again.」

「This seems to be an older property but is still in good shape. No issues with cleanliness and no bugs of any kind seen (and I’m that traveler that always checks the mattresses first thing). Yes the carpet may be faded and stained in spots, but that is likely an indication of heavy use over time by multiple guests. The cobbler and ice cream at night were a nice surprise!
