「We loved our stay at the General Morgan Inn. We came in on a Sunday and we were one of a few guests in the hotel that evening, which was kind of nice. I will say, nothing was open in the hotel that night, so we didn't get to enjoy anything besides our room and breakfast the next morning. We did enjoy walking up to the outdoor patio in the evening and just standing around looking at the view of the city. Would 100% recommend this place! 」

「We had a great stay. The inn was beautiful and the receptionist very helpful. The bathroom was a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older home. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided. It was a very quiet place to relax.」

「We have stayed at the Gin many times and this stay was very good. The property, while historic, is well maintained and clean. I was concerned by some reviews but found everything to be well cared for. Our accessible room was large, spotlessly clean, had high ceilings, heavy woodwork, and a modern updated bath. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast is minimal and self-serve but was adequate for our needs.」

「Staff was very friendly and the pool was refreshing on the hot day. However the bed wasn't very comfortable, the air conditioner was very loud even on low but the worst part was that the fire alarm for the whole hotel went off twice very early in the morning so we also were awakened very early on top of a bad nights sleep. Also, if you're considering staying on a week night, know that nearly everything closes by 5PM including restaurants and some aren't open on weekdays at all.」
