“What a great place to stay in Nairn. Central to golf course and main shops, Big clean spacious room with a large bed, couch and all essentials. Big bathroom including a bathtub. Nice outlook outside. Superb hosts who cooked a great breakfast. Really enjoyed our time there”

“We enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at the Aurora Hotel & Italian Restaurant in Nairn. The location was excellent, with an easy walk to the beach and waterfront, making it a great base for exploring the area. We stayed in a Family Room with one double bed and two single beds. Traveling as a family of four, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. There was plenty of room to move around, unpack, and get ready without feeling cramped. “We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“Building is in disarray, with things left all over the place. No one was at the front desk. Towels were not changed and our room was not refreshed for our second night. I planned to use my credit card but was told the machine wasn’t working and I had to pay cash, but wasn’t given a receipt. (I was finally emailed a receipt a day later, after I insisted on one.) I never did received the change from my cash payment. It was all quite strange.”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and……
