“The best B & B I’ve stayed in. The host Helen is absolutely lovely, and fixes an amazing breakfast. The room was charming, well decorated, and had amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Tea, water and a couple snacks were also provided in the room. A wonderful place, I hope one day to return.”

“Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. We got lost our first night out and after a quick call, Graham got us back on track and was actually on his way out to find us when we turned up the drive! That is the level of hospitality provided. Breakfast was delectable! Fresh, buttery croissants, creamy eggs, tasty haggis, sweet fried tomatoes and the tenderest bacon! The beds were so comfortable and the pillows so fluffy!!! “We didn't see a soul. Check in was using a safe box to collect the key. Check out was dropping the key into a safe box. Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed.”

“We stayed here in May 2025 and really enjoyed it. This time we booked a sea view feature room to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It had an amazing view of the rock pools and the en-suite had a freestanding copper bathtub. We were going to watch some of the World Cup highlights on the TV in our room however it didn’t have BBC iPlayer or itvx however we did bring a chromecast device to connect Netflix and iPlayer from our iPhone but unfortunately on the very last part of connection “something went……

“Rooms are all in upper floors 2nd or above, no elevator/lifts made it difficult for elders. The rooms are well maintained. Water pressure/hot water is an issue.”

“10/10 for everything. Great staff, extremely well maintained, beautifully decorated property in a fantastic area and plenty of onsite parking. Breakfast was also top notch and the bacon was particularly good. The room was a delight - well furnished and a very comfortable bed. The curtains were really lovely and blocked out the light really well. Will be back.”

“Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Grote kamers. Zeer lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Ook privéparking aanwezig. Enig minpuntje is de verduistering van de ramen met horizontale lamellen = steeds licht in de kamer, onmogelijk om volledig donker te maken. Bij het lekkere ontbijt ontbreekt het aan verse broodjes en kaas en ham. Algemeen geeft het hotel een verouderde indruk en zou een volledige opfrisbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Maar de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaars en het lekkere eten……
