「Had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. The staff were really friendly and Neil was super helpful carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs and then down again on departure. The room was cozy and had all the amenities: flat screen tv, kettle and a radio. The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . 「The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.」
