Not recommended

First, do not stay at any property owned/managed by Vacasa. When we arrived, the walkway to the house was completely snowed over (3-4 feet deep due to the plow). The area in front of the back door was a sheet of ice. We contacted Vacasa via their text messageand asked where a snow shovel was kept (we had looked in all the obvious places), and if there was any salt to melt the ice. In response, we were told that guests are supposed to BRING THEIR OWN SNOW SHOVEL AND ICE. Are you kidding me? The house is fairly old, and not well maintained. Lots of chairs were broken. Curtains were not fully attached to curtain rods. In the kitchen, there was a coffee maker and small toaster both plugged into the same outlet. We ran them both at the same time and the entire kitchen fuse blew and lost power. The biggest problem, which forced us to leave because we felt unsafe in the home, was that the 2 bedrooms in the basement had leaks. The snow and ice was pushed up against the windows and the heat from the home must have caused melting. Water was dripping through the windows and saturating the carpets. It was also dripping on a radiator and sizzling. Totally unsafe. To their credit, yes there is a small sauna. And yes it's close to Stratton.
