Meramec Farm's is located in a place called Bourbon, MO the town has been in operation since 1853. The name Bourbon refers to bourbon whiskey and is believed to be the only town in the United States to be named after bourbon whiskey The Farm is set on the spring-fed Meramec River in East Central Missouri, Meramec Farm has been in the same family since 1811. We had 3 family groups staying for a quick weekend getaway. This house was fantastic! It had everything we needed to have a great weekend together! We floated with Blue Springs Ranch and the proximity to the house was great. We all decided that we would definitely stay here (or any of the other Rockwoods ...

Artifacts from Pre- Colombian Native American Indians have been found in the caverns and it is ruptured that outlaw Jessie James used them as a hideout.
