Top Braemar Golf Club Hotel Reviews
Coylumbridge Resort Hotel
8/10 Good
"Check-in was slow as usual. There's a fast-lane for those of us who had checked in online, but it was getting used as a general lane. The person checking us in needed to know who we'd booked with (why? It was all paid, and I'd already checked in online). Next he asked my name, but then said 'No, no, no.' I was sure I was right, but he was sure I was wrong. But then he found me on his computer screen and it turned out that I did know my name. Staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful, especially the dining area staff. Top marks. Queues at busy times (buffet style) but the food was fine, though not spectacular. For the cost of the meals, one could have a lovely table service meal in a restaurant but if all-you-can-eat appeals, it's not bad. There's plenty of car parking spaces, but lots of white vans parked - and long-wheel base vans take up at least two spaces, and sometimes more if they are wide. Dedicated parking spaces for vans would be useful. At night, it can be hard to find a nearby parking spot but the coach car park always has spaces. Overall, cheap and very good value for money and I do recommend this venue without hesitation."

Dalmunzie Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed hanging out in the lounge -- and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed one night en route to Balmoral. We also did the Persie Gin Distillery tour and tasting which was nearby - and we would not have known about it but for the Dalmunzie website. Their site includes lots of helpful info about the area"
Macdonald Aviemore Highland Hotel
8/10 Good
"The resort is quite old and in some spots pretty rundown. The cleaning team does a great job with what they have. when it comes to the support staff We found a range between some who were kind and helpful and others who seemed as if they were a bit hungover and couldn't be bothered"
Glenkilrie House
10/10 Excellent
"Stepping onto the grounds of Glenkilrie House is like stepping into an oil painting by John Constable. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you hadn ’t made any other plans, but could simply unwind and recharge in this serene and restorative setting. We honestly can’t think of anything that could be improved. From Morag’s warm hospitality to the large, comfortable rooms, the peaceful surroundings, and the best Scottish breakfast anywhere, everything was perfect. We even began to wonder if Morag has some influence over the weather—we had clear blue skies throughout our stay. Next time, we’re staying longer!"
Loch Kinord Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The meals were 5 star quality"
Cambus o'May Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the Kennels apartment and it was ideal, the most dog friendly accommodation we have come across. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were lovely. Definitely going to stay again."
